The Cross River State College Of Education, Akamkpa, held it's First induction ceremony of potential teachers for the certification by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), on Wednesday, 8th February, 2023.

The Provost of the College, Dr. James Etim Archibong hosted the Registrar/ Chief Executive, TRCN, Prof. Josiah Olusegun Ajiboye who was ably represented by the Director, Registration, Accreditation, enforcement of TRCN, Abuja, Dr Bimbo Okunola. The Cross River State TRCN Coordinator, TRCN Desk Officer, COE Akamkpa, Inductees, College Staff, and other dignitaries that graced the event are in the pictures here.

The Provost pointed out that the event is a huge milestone achievement to the College as it is designed to equip teachers professionally with certificates to practice as distinguished professionals distinct from the quacks. He added that teaching is an interesting job, and if properly harnessed it would help to enhance the Educational sector in Nigeria. He admonished the inductees to be prime movers that could sharpen the teaching profession.

Highpoints of the ceremony were the induction lecture, anchored by Dr. Emmanuel O. Eremi; the administration of Teacher's Oath of Allegiance; Cultural displayed; presentation of certificates and group photographs.
