The Management Cross River State College Of Education, Akamkpa paid a warmth courtesy visit to the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Anthony Owan-Enoh. The visit was led by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Quality Education, Mrs Aniedi Ekpeyoung, The Provost, Dr. James E. Archibong and other management Staff of the College.

The Secretary to the State Government assured the team of His Excellency, Prince Bassey Edet Otu passionate concerned for the college in uplifting the citadel of learning to the zenith expectations of the management, College community and state at large.
The SSG made it crystal clear in his words "the challenges you face, I'm aware and His Excellency is equally aware and as SSG, I can not destroy the foundation I help to build when I served as the first Provost of the new College Of Education or stand as an obstacle to the growth of the College".
He admonished the team to continue to put in their best in the College because the world is watching.

Speaking during the visit, The Provost, Dr. James E. Archibong while congratulating the Secretary to the State Government for a well deserving appointment considering his track record of excellent performance and indelible mark he left behind in the College when he served as the first Provost of the new College, expressing believe and confidence in the present leadership in the State.
He clearly outlined prominent achievements his administration has recorded as Provost while noting the critical and perennial areas the College needs government intervention which certainly will be put to rest in this present administration.
